KISAMA

KISAMA is the name of a musical project that comes from the Gipuzkoan towns of Tolosa and Ibarra. The objective of the project, unlike the music industry, is to bring Rock and Metal music closer to the public.

Rock music is not dead, and never has been. It is where it belongs, outside the media, both radio and television. It is on the street, at concerts, in the world we call "underground". Where it is more accessible to listen or practice without being exploited. It is a way of living, feeling and thinking for many people because it is transgressive and mischievous.

Totally opposite to the products that are sold nowadays. We consider the decline of music enormous, because it is not taken into account that musical projects are the result of creativity between one or more people. Now it is the producers who get the songs ready to sell to the highest bidder. Singles are sold, not albums and not musical projects. The groups need time and a path to establish their proposal, which does not correspond to the immediate success that is required today. With that mentality, artists as influential as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Freddie Mercury, Janis Joplin, David Bowie, Kurt Cobain, etc. will not come out in this millennium.

For now, we will continue to be free to speak and feel what we want.
